Since becoming a mod, I have been told that Open Study should post a list of all the words deemed inappropriate for the site. This would defeat the purpose. Badrefs, you are an awesome scientist.

Sorry, we don't currently publish a list of the censored words. Although I can see that you figured out a good chunk of the list on your own. Sorry, had to delete it. :P

Well, I see you want that list, @badreferences, to avoid making bad references. However, as people have mentioned above, it is one of the very few things that we do not publish about the inner mechanics of OpenStudy. Our wonderful users deserve an explanation, though, so here it is:

1. We believe that the list is a starting point, and not comprehensive. Publishing it will promote the misunderstanding that all words outside the list are sanctioned, and we don't want to mislead our users.

2. Publishing this list will be tempting for some creative users to channel their energy towards more, uhm, naughty pursuits. This would make us guilty of some vague definition of entrapment!
