A graph gives you info about continuous points... innumerous points for a continuous function, in fact. whereas with a table, you can only discuss a handful of points or coordinates. so graph for example the line y=x+1 you can make a table for three or four values of (x,y), but a graph gives you a continuous plot. you find corresponding values of x and y for any point on the graph, even if its irrational or anything.. and one doesnt need much mathematical skills to solve either.
