Hello, I'm just starting the Intro to computer science and after watching the first lecture are already enjoying it. I have a couple of questions that I hope someone help me with (sorry if this is not the best place to ask them) In lecture 1 the video quality made it difficult to read the code examples the lecturer was typing out, is this a issue in future lectures? Or is this what is covered by the code examples in the course hand outs? If I follow the course and I complete a assignment, will I be able to post it here and have someone review it? Thanks
Eyesnight, I believe the codes are covered by the course handouts but it has been a few years since I did OCW's intro computer science class and cannot remember for sure. You can definitely post your code and people will check it for you. This is a slow group - more oriented to in depth discussion than short, quick, ready answers. For those, you can also check out the general non-OCW Computer Science group at http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Computer%20Science/ but the cool people frequent both.
when watching the video, the handouts are in the Related Resources tab just below the video
eyesnight: Starting with Lecture 3 I've converted the PDF handouts into python scripts. You should be able to find them under the closed question (would be great if there was a resouces tab). Hope this helps.
