i'm not getting it i tryed them all, but it want work

You don't want to plug in numbers to find it. I'll walk you through. Remember the Pythagorean theorem for the rest of your math life. a²+b²=c² c or your hypotenuse is ALWAYS the largest side and opposite of your 90 degree angle. So plug in what is given. a=20 b =? c=26 20²+b²=26² and solve for the missing variable. 400 + b² = 676 b² = 676 - 400 b²=276 Now square each side to get rid of the ² on your variable. You get 16.6

ohh ok..thanks
