PLEASE HELP I HAVE A TEST TOMORROW how do you solve this 3d vector question? A plane has the air velocity of 250 miles per hour just after take off and it makes a 30 degree angle with the flat ground as it travels south west. A wind blows at 20 miles per hour with a bearing at 135 degrees. Find a vector to represent the plane's velocity relative to the point of take off.

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

can u clarify what 135degrees is... |dw:1334121670995:dw| is it measured from north like this?

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

but this thing is in 3d form so im not completely sure

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

What format is your answer supposed to be in?

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

in vector form

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

magnitud and angles.... or just [a,b,c]

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

abc

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

all right.... First break the 250 mph into its components: |dw:1334122344970:dw|
