I really dont understand the difference between the english twice the sum of and the sum of twice

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Suppose we have twice the sum of five and six. This is \[\huge 2 \times ( 5 +6)\] But if the question has sum of twice of 5 and 6, then it is \[\huge 2\times 5+6\]
