Hm perhaps you could email your professor for help? Alternatively, try googling some key words from your lab activity to see if there's an online resource for it.

If it is a question about a general scientific protocol, like how to load a well in a gel, make running buffer or get a GST pulldown to go, you should try to look up online. Google is good. YouTube also has a surprising number of videos of lab procedures done correctly. 

If you still have a question or if you question pertains to the specific lab at your school, you should ask the TA, lab instructor or (as a last resort) the professor.
