if i understood correctly - not necessarily. red blood cell and platelets dont have a nucleus as well

As Shayaan_Mustafa already said, yes - organisms, lacking a cell nucleus are called prokaryotes. Here [1] is a nice video, where Sal explains the different parts of a cell and also mentions prokaryote/eukaryote..
