A = (1/2)bh so area is 1/2*18*6 = 54

when I tried I started off at 
area = 18 x 6
and got 108
 I didnt know what to do after that

Remember a rectangle has area b times height.  A triangle is 1/2 of a rectangle so you have to divide by 2.
