We began series in my class but I had to miss the lecture today so I don't really understand what I'm doing for hw. http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/6596/476ed2488a4f4faeb8f8c6e.png Determine whether the following limit is a number, or infinity or -infinity. Can anyone help me with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so when taking a limit like this to infinity, check the highest exponent on top and bottom if top is greater it approaches +/- infinity if they are equal, it approaches a number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

check signs to see if it would be + infinity or -infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it's -1 lol thanks
