I would like a hint as to how to evaluate the following integral: \sqrt{tanx} ----------dx sin2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try \[u=\sqrt{\tan(x)}\] and recall that \(sin(2x)=2\sin(x)\cos(x)\)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats 2 hints, youve failed the reading and comprehension test of this exam :)

I tried that hint, and it only made it worse. I would like more hints please. This is really harder than I thought it would be. Yesterday, I posed this question in my tutorial, and no one was able to solve it (not even the TA!)
