factor trinomial completely x^2+12x+29

OpenStudy (anonymous):

29 is prime so its factors are only 1 and 29. these can't add up to 12... this trinomial is not factorable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about t^2+9t+8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can we use quadratic formula???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think so sarkar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that second one is factorable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i go about doing that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

t2+8t+t+8 t(t+8)+1(t+8) (t+1)(t+8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :*
