Which is a likely consequence of trying to insert the wireless card while the computer is plugged in?

Death to the bus on the motherboard maybe ....heck it might not powerup....you see the thing about USB is its hot plugable because the power pins in the connector are longer than the center 2 data pins so the device powers up and initializes before it try to send data.the catastorphic causes above is what "could" happen.....allot of modern motherboards have saftey mechisims built in so I say give it a try and see what happens I always say if I break it it gives me an excuse to buy the stuff I really want "current version you know :) "

PS only use your right hand when messing with electrical componets that way the electricity will flow down your right side if you lucky instead of across your heart .....always avoid electrical shocks to your head...if you aren't alreay crazy you could get a personality change for the better or worse...Please only let a doctor shock your head!
