Use arrow notation to describe the translation of point P(–5, –4) to point P¢(–8, –7).

I've never heard of arrow notation, but what I'd guess is that you just figure out what the x and y components of the translation are and then write the arrow to show the direction. So my guess at this one is: From (-5,-4) to (-8, -7) is left 3 and down 3. In arrow notation: <-3 \/3
