let A, B, C be left, right, middle circle centres respectively now draw on AB, AC, BC let M be midpoint of AB, where circles tough draw on MC, perpendicular to AB MC = R-r , AB = 2R , AC = R+r pythag gets us my answer, of course i havent proven that MC is perpendicular to AB or anything, i have to go now :/
