Lipids that are in a ______________ form animal body fat that is used for stored energy and insulation.

OpenStudy (blues):

It depends on what scale you are talking about. On a molecular level, the lipids stored for energy and insulation are mostly fatty acids. On a cellular level, they are stored in vacuoles in cells. On a systematic level, they are stored as adipose tissue. It really helps us help you understand the question as well as the answer if you explain what aspect of it you would like help with in addition to posting the question itself.

Lips are in like a form the question is asking which can be hydrogenated, reconstituted, saturated and unsaturated. i need to know which one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will be back in like 15 minutes

OpenStudy (blues):

Cool. When fats are oxidised - that is, turned into energy - the bonds between the individual carbon and hydrogen atoms are broken and the energy stored in them is released. The more bonds there are to break, the more energy is released. The fats which are used for energy have the most bonds possible. So which option is most consistent with that?
