What I'd do is I'd think about how many times I've drawn a marble TOTAL. Then I'd think about how many times I've drawn a specific color. Then I'd guess that the color was that fraction of the whole bag.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
For example, imagine I have 20 marbles total in a bag. I draw 4 and I get a red marble once. I can guess that red is 1/4th of the bag, meaning there are 5 red marbles.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok so how would i do it with 120 marbles

You drew:
y-3
r-7
g-5
let's think about trying to guess how many greens are in the bag. Of the marbles that I drew, what fraction were green?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
5/15 right?

Right. Which is the same as 1/3. So if you pulled 1/3 greens, just assume that 1/3 of the 120 marble bag is greens. How many is that?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
um...
