Whats a quantitative? I forgot...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Involving numbers or a measurement.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need a few examples too..'Im kinda confused with both words..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"quantitative" is an adjective describing something measurable or countable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I ask you how TALL Greg is, you can measure it and tell me in a number. If I ask you how NICE Greg is, you can't measure that, you can only describe it. Niceness is not quantitative. It's qualitative.

I guess I'm getting it now...Thanks!

^@SmoothMath good example! another important historical one: science in the time of the Greeks like Aristotle was qualitative, i.e. it involved little numerical observation. modern science is based heavily on quantitative measurements.

Thanks, again!
