How do I change: 100 g NH4Cl in 150 g H2O @ 50 ºC Into the form: g NH4Cl ------- 100g H2O? I don't care what is in the numerator, all I want is to change the denominator to 100g.

So as it is given in the question, it is actually: 100gNH4Cl --------- 150g H2O I want to change this to gNH4Cl --------- 100g H2O

I have a strategy: Simplify that fraction by doing the division, and then multiply by 100%. Will that give me gNH4Cl --- 100gH2O form?

OpenStudy (jfraser):

basically, yes
