If I can't find the publisher of a website for the works cited page, should I use the copyright listing or not use anything?
i think u use the title?
I would assume the listing. You can't leave it blank and the copyright is the closest thing to the publisher. Closer than the title at least. Are you siting it MLA or APA?
MLA haha and ya anything closer to the publisher
I don't know. I would guess, I mean you already have to list the title of the page anyway. I don't think you should list it twice. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/2/
I think you should leave it blank because the copyright date is not the same as the publsher.
Oh, I thought you meant the copyrighter, like where it was copywrighted. My teacher nailed me on that once. Yes, a date, that's totally different.
I messed up. I meant to write, there was an organization listed next to the copyright date, so I thought that the organization should not be listed as the publisher.
I'm not sure now. My teacher always got me for not leaving things blank, to try and fill all spaces with the info closest to what you need. Whichever you choose to do, I guess. Can you ask your teacher before you turn it in?
Thanks
