A survey taken in your school found that 68% of the students are not afraid to fly. Round the answer to three decimal places. 1. What is. The probability that 2 students are not afraid. To fly?i

Directrix (directrix):

P(2 students not afraid to fly) = (68/100)*(68/100) = .462

Thats the wrong answer. Answer is 0.152

Directrix (directrix):

@Pamelaa23 --> I think you left something out of the question. That would be out of how many students would you expect 2 to not be afraid to fly. I think the question should read, Out of 5 students, what is the probabiity that two will not be afraid to fly? That would follow the information about the survey. Please check your question source to determine what was left out. Thanks.

My math professor told me the answer is 0.152

Directrix (directrix):

I don't doubt that. I asked you about the question you posted. You left something out of the question. I am asking you to check the question.

Directrix (directrix):

@Pamelaa23 --> You did not specifiy how many students were to be surveyed prior to asking how many of those surveyed were not afraid to fly.
