(x-6)(x+5)
factor an x out of the first 2 terms factor a 5 out of 2nd 2 terms x^2-6x+5x-30 x(x-6)+5(x-6) now factor an (x-6) out of both terms (x-6)(x+5)
= x² + (-6x+5x) - 30 = x² - x - 30 (find two number multiply equals -30 but add to -1) This case -6,5 = (x + 5)(x - 6)
