Divide 1440 by 180 to see how many triangles the polygon has.

180(n-2) = 1440 180n - 360 = 1440 180n = 1800 n = 10 Therefore, it's dec
So the number of sides has to be 2 more than the number of triangles. So how many sides does it have?

Recall the formula: Total angle in polygon = 180(n-2)
