How to improve my English? I seem to have big problem in communication in English, especially in understanding what others are saying.

Do you love science? If so, consider subscribing to Discovery Channel. It is much more interesting than those TV shows on TVB. (You live in Hong Kong, am I right?)

In IB, I have to deal with PP and EE. In DSE, I need to deal with those tests and the Chinese. Which as a native speaker of Cantonese, my Chinese is miserable.

It comes with practice and experience. :) Practice speaking english at home and at school with others. Watch english TV shows to learn the way natives speak.(Try not to depend on the subtitles). I think your grammar is all right, though. In a few months, you'll get better.

Well, actually, one good way is also to 'think' in English. When you're thinking or talking to yourself(your conscience), do it in English. Even I don't speak in English at home, to be honest.
