When graphing what happens to the graph due to the -x in this trigonometric transformation:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=\frac{1}{2} \cos (-x- \frac{\pi}{2})\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could someone walk me through the process on how I would graph this function?

The period is 2pi correct? Because B is 1, right?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

cos(-theta) = cos(theta) and cos(x+pi/2) = -sin(x) that divided by 2. period=pi
