What was the main reason for Henry VIII's split with the Roman Catholic Church

So Henry the 8th, if you recall, was the guy that had a bunch of wives. Why? Because none them would bear him a son, or an heir for the throne. Queen's were aloud to inherit the throne, but he wasn't about to let that happen. So what he wanted was a divorce or anullment of one his marriages, which basically means to say it never happened. Of course the Roman Catholic Church does not believe in divorce, so they said no. Thus King Henry was like, whatevs I'm the king, and made his own church, The Anglican Church. He also made it the official church of England. So that's why he split from the Catholic Church
