Three co-workers like to go for coffee together each day. Each time they go, they each flip a fair coin. If two of the flips are the same and the other is different, the person whose coin landed differently from the others has to pay. This is repeated until a decision can be made. What is the probability that the decision of who will pay for coffee is reached within the first two rounds of tosses?
