Integration problem-Volumes by cross sections Find the volume of the pyramid with a square base 4 m on a side and a height of 2 m.

OpenStudy (precal):

I don't have a picture for this one, but I believe I am suppose to produce square corss sections.

OpenStudy (precal):

@amistre64

OpenStudy (experimentx):

looks like the square is sling in line in place of parabola this time.

OpenStudy (experimentx):

i guess, y = 2x is the line.

OpenStudy (precal):

I meant produce square cross sections. I don't have a clue for the limits.

OpenStudy (experimentx):

|dw:1334443925296:dw| this should be the line.

OpenStudy (precal):

is that theta inside?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

we don't need theta, if we need theta inside then it wouldbe arctan(4/2)

OpenStudy (precal):

I hate these problems. I have one more to do but at least I have a picture for that one. I was just asking if you wrote theta? Just could not understand the symbol inside of the figure.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

base is 4 and height is 2; y=-x+2 if anything; or y=x if you wanna look at it from the top
