Help here please: Trig behaviors

OpenStudy (experimentx):

- sign in-front or -x inside and also multiply x by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So y = -2sin(-2x) like this?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

-2sin(2x) or 2sin(-2x) Ah ...and i completely ignored Amplitude.

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

vertically stretch by 2 horizontal stretch by 3 and reflect x axis so y=-2sin(3x)

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

no the period is 2pi/3 --> y = -2sin(3x)

OpenStudy (experimentx):

Ops .. sorry, it's 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh. so -2sin(3x) right? Thank you so much guys:)

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yep , notice it took 1.5 cycles to get to 180 degrees so 3 cycles in normal 2pi period
