Trigo Question
@experimentx, the questino is still open. I jsut closed it so its just you
amplitude: 3 timeperiod: pi horizontal shift: pi/4 left vertical shift: +3 and in opposite direction that cos(x)
ty:)
wait ... i need to confirm.
ok
I think we have been doing something incorrectly http://www4b.wolframalpha.com/Calculate/MSP/MSP53251a140e4hg74f7d1i00004idif6c2if29a994?MSPStoreType=image/gif&s=19&w=399&h=192&cdf=RangeControl
I must say that the displacement is opposite.
really?
can you see above picture??
Yes
the best way to describe y = -cos(x) from y = cos(x) is the graph is Horizontal shift = Period/2 Since we have pi/4 as shift (left), I think the correct thing to say would be Horizontal shift: period/2 - pi/4 = pi/2 - pi/4 = +pi/4
Ohh ok. Thank you @experimentx!
Correct all answers where you have -Cos(...) add Period/2 to all.
