find y'(1) if y = x^2(x+2)^3 a. 48 b. 64 c.81 d.54
my answer b 64 is wrong =)
You should take the derivative first before evaluating 1...
If you don't like to do then you can always do this http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=d%2Fdx%28x%5E2%28x%2B2%29%5E3%29%2C+at+x+%3D+1 However I suggest you do what is above.
x^2(x+2)^3 y'= x^2(derivative of (x+2)^3 + (x+2)^3(derivative of x^2)
aw 81 pala is the answer...
