convert to polar form 4x+3y = 2

OpenStudy (jlastino):

We know that x= rcostheta y=rsintheta So we just sub them into the equation 4rcostheta +3rsintheta =2 We can factor out r r(4costheta+3sintheta)=2 then divide both sides of the equation to solve for r=2/(4costheta+3sintheta)
