Increase of greenhouse gases, due to human activity, is melting sea ice at the poles. This causes changes in climate. Name three Earth spheres which interact in this process

I would love to help, but I'm a bit unfamiliar with the terminology used here...do you mind defining what an Earth sphere is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outline_of_earth_science#Earth.27s_spheres

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i do think that is wat it is talking bout

Hm alright. For your three spheres: you could consider using the biosphere, the hydrosphere, and the atmosphere. Pretty straightforward choices. The biosphere comprises life. This is where we live. You could mention something about pollution, carbon emissions, etc. as a result of our activities in the biosphere. The above activities have effects in the atmosphere. You could talk about increased CO2 levels in the atmosphere, as well as pollutants such as your CFCs which degraded the ozone. Changes in the atmosphere lead to phenomena, as mentioned, like global warming and climate change. This has implications for the hydrosphere - the water portion of our earth. Namely, as indicated in the question, melting ice = greater water levels in the hydrosphere. I hope someone else will be able to offer you a more comprehensive answer, but this is the best I can offer right now!
