Discuss two choices made by Gawain throughout the course of the poem. What were the consequences of these choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Two crucial choices that he made was his commitment to face the green knight. He sealed his fate fearlessly by this, and this is choice is the reason why we have such a story as Sir Gawain and the Green Knight! :D Another would be his refusal to sleep with the seductive wife of his host. Although he faltered at some point, which gave the host-turned-green-knight, a little bit of retribution, this choice may have saved his life, which is why we get to read of a story which closes with Sir Gawain's head intact. :D
