A culture of bacteria can be modeled with exponential growth. If 500 bacteria are present initially and there are 800 present after 1 hours, then how many will be present in the culture after 5 hours? I've attached my work - can someone tell me if I did it right or if I'm on the right/wrong track?

your solution seems fine... step 4 isn't necessary as dividing by 1

the calculation of the k value is correct

i looks like the time value is incorrect, should be 5 from my reading of the question

\[P = 500e^{0.470036 \times 5}\]
