factoring completely its not the same as when you factor or so it seems
example x^2 + 10x + 21
and factored is ( x + 3 )( x + 7 ) but factored completely is different there's most time a number variable outside the parentheses does anyone know ??

the example you posted would not have a number outside the parentheses

if you factor this problem

you would divide out the 8 and put it outside the parentheses so
