(no battery) my laptop shuts down instantly when i am turning on my pc... whats wrong with my laptop.. is it because of my adapter or my battery... or just another form of virus... please help me.. thanks.... , )

I am most certainly sure its hardware problem , but I think you should get your laptop check by a professional , but from experience I think your battery is dead

i would take that battery out then plug it in then it should work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is most likely your battery and should get a new one or your charging wire needs to be replaced

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it could be the port, it maybe working enough to get a little power to it, enough to charge it when its off but not enough to charge it and power it together

Normal PC problem. It some coockies that are downloaded and that enter sometimes (i had the same problem when i was programming). This cookie sends an order to your computer to auto shutdown at random times...sometimes it wont last for more than 5 seconds, and other times will last for 15 minutes. My suggestion is to give your computer to a technician. ___________________________________________

thanks.

First of all: That stuff about cookies doesn't make any sense. Secondly: This is not really a tech support forum. Thirdly: It sounds like your adapter is not generating enough power; charging the battery takes far less power than a switched-on computer takes: Either it doesn't receive enough power from the mains or it is defective.

Check your Power Options settings. I know on some cell smart phones, you can set the device to not charge when it is left on (ie charge only when power is off). There might be a similar option for the computer.
