I asked an earlier question and I'm just looking for confirmation as I'm not happy my quadratic equation is correct; x^ - 3x -10 = 0

I think I'm going slightly wrong about half way down....

Directrix (directrix):

Is this --> x^ - 3x -10 = 0 supposed to be x^2 - 3x - 10 = 0 ? When you went slightly wrong half the way down, were you solving the quadratic by factoring or the Quadratic Formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep it was x^ - but I've solved it now many thanks

Directrix (directrix):

Okay. That's good to hear.
