State the slope and y-intercept of the equation. y=2x-4

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

The equation y = mx+b has the slope m and the y-intercept (0,b) In the case of y = 2x-4, the value of m is m = 2. So the slope is 2 Also, b = -4, so the y-intercept is (0, -4)
