Which point lies on the line defined by 3x + 6 y = 2? PLEASE SHOW WORK :]
are you given a specific set of points, or do you state any point?
Specific. They are 0,2 0,6 1, -1/6 1, -1/3
then simply isolate in terms of y, and sub those points in until you get the correct answer.
I did, but i then something went wrong and im left with the 3rd and 4th points &&i dunno which ones they are?
what went wrong?
i isolated the 1st and 2nd points but then i either got the 4th or 3rd points and it kept doing that i dunno if its 3rd or 4th
what do you mean you "isolated" the 1st and 2nd points? Just sub them into your y =
Ok can you tell me if its 1,-1/6 or1,-1/3
