Write an equation for the following statement: The area of a parallelogram is equal to its base times its height. Use A for area, b for base, and h for height. A = bh A = b/h A = 1/2 bh A = b + h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the formula for area of a parallelgram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A=1/2bh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, that's a triangle.

An image is worth a thousands of words. ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a=b/h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you trolling?

OpenStudy (zepp):

._.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's not funny.

OpenStudy (zepp):

http://puu.sh/pZUd I'm not trolling..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur trolling stop reading 9gag -.- if ur nto gona help go away

OpenStudy (zepp):

Well, in my drawing, I cut of the part to put it on the other part, makes it a rectangle, and a rectangle's area is h*b.. Why would I be trolling anyway?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not talking to you zeep

OpenStudy (zepp):

My picture is just showing that the equation to find the area of a rectangle and a parallelogram is the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alrite final thank you !

OpenStudy (zepp):

Np. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@zepp, I meant audrey was trolling, which apparently she wasn't. amazing, my bad.
