@Directrix
I thought we were finished and started a polar point problem with some guy. How about you getting some rest, and I'll finish this new problem later. What do you think about that. And, what about that Egypt problem? Did you agree on that?
It has to be late wherever you are.
Yes, I agree. I have more questions more homework left
it's not as late as your time though. 1:12 am
You're right but if you are tired and confused, then you need rest.
I can finish with the polar guy and come back but you could rest and then work on these later in the morning.
I need to finish this though /:
Well, you start this problem. I'll go finish up with the polar guy and come back.
I didn't get this problem. I'll keep working on the ones I haven't finished yet
The contractor has \[\pi 11^2 \frac {12}3=484 \pi \] cubic feet Which is \[\frac {484 \pi}{27}= 56.13 \] cubic yard. You can now finish your problem.
a) The volume of a right circular cone is given by: V = (1/3) * pi * (11)^2 * 12 V = 1/3 *pi* 121*12 V = 84 pi V = 2662.72 Cubic FEET ------- b) 3 linear feet = 1 linear yard 3^2 = 9 square feet = 1 square yard 3^3 = 27 cubic feet = 1 cubic yard So, 2662.72 Cubic FEET = (2662.72 / 27) cubic YARDS (2662.72 / 27) cubic YARDS = 98.62 cubic YARDS c) No. 78 cubic yards < 98.62 cubic yards
