When you block someone, shouldn't they be prevented from posting to your threads?
by threads do you mean questions? well this is a social learning website not a social networking website...so even if you block someone they still have the right to teach..if they bug you in threads feel free to report abuse..the moderators NEVER let these things pass

No, a block only prevents them from becoming your fan, sending you a direct message, and mentioning you in questions and replies. (The mention will still happen, but you won't be notified.) We may extend the power of block later, but that's it for now.
Essentially, blocking is meant to prevent personal/private interactions. Interactions with the community are regulated more by moderators, so as mentioned, report abuse if someone is bothering you in the public areas of the site and we'll look into it.
