for one thing, i think we have issues with figures... according to my profile, i've helped 59 people... but i'm pretty sure the figure there is quite beyond 59. so its either my memory needs some work or some calculations are wrong... i need some help here
According to my SmartScore I have answered 920 questions - but I got an achievement for answering 1000 questions in one group alone about four weeks ago and I have answered a few more since then. Hmm. I add that I am 100% love with the concept of SmartScore.
so then averagely you haven't "answered" 1000+ questions... you've replied to 1000+ questions but answered 920... if i get this right.... cool
Huh? Scratches head.
well if you received an achievement for answering 1000 questions in one group but according to smartscore, you've answered only 920, my point is, probably the smartscore algorithms have determined that you have only really answered 920 questions but then you have replied to more than 1000 questions. in other words, not all your 1000+ replies to questions were answers...
Are replies and answers the same thing? I often answer questions which already have answers if those answers are poor, sketchy or incorrect - but it's not like I'm reply to my own questions as I rarely, rarely ask those.
I'm going to let @mattfeury or @shadowfiend take this one. I think it relates to how they did the data migration on the server when we deployed SmartScore.
good to know, thanks :)
So sad. I'll have a look later tonight. Looks like some content may have slipped through the cracks.
blues—we were probably miscounting before. I just double-checked in the database and you have the number that your profile says you do. sasogeek—we consider you as having helped someone if they gave you a medal in their own question. As such, though you've replied to questions from 250+ users, only 59 of them have given you medals in their own questions. Does that make sense?
yeah :)
