What is the slope of the graph of 8x – 4y = 11?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve the equation for y first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2/1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=mx+t where m is the slope. Converting it to this form, 4y=8x-11, followed by dividing 4 on both sides which will give y=2x-11. so the slope is coeffecient of x which is 2.

2/1, not negative! My mistake
