I need help with the 4 questions below...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@asnaseer @brainshot3 @campbell_st @Luis_Rivera @myininaya @Tomas.A

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

sorry - I can't open xlsx files...

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

you solution has the wrong symbol in the answer \[\int\limits x^3 - 4x dx = 1/4x^4 -2x^2 + c\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i converted to PDF

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Please consider the time answerers spend to answer your question and post the question itself rather than PDFs or XLSes of these questions. Also please don't post four questions as one question. That is also disrespectful to the answerers, since they get fewer medals.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

in question 2 simplify first (x^4)^1/2 = x^2 so the question is \[\int\limits 2x^2 - x^{-1/2} dx = 2/3x^3 - 2x^{1/2} + c\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@shadowfiend there is a reason i posted them in attachments. there are a lot of symbols included in the problems. when it comes to medals, i make sure everyone gets what they deserve. i even go to peoples profiles and give them extra medals for other problems they have solved.

For first problem, campbell is correct, it should just have been a \(+2x^2\) instead of \(-2x^2\). Campbell is also correct for the second problem. Moving on to the others now...

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

For the third question, first integrate with respect to t.\[\int\limits_0^x t^3+4t^2+7t+4\quad dt={t^4 \over 4}+{4t^3 \over 3}+{7t \over 2}+4t \;\;\Bigr |_0^x\]Then just evaluate it from 0 to x like you would with any normal number.\[{x^4 \over 4}+{4x^3 \over 3}+{7x \over 2}+4x - \left({0^4 \over 4}+{40^3 \over 3}+{0 \over 2}+4(0)\right)\]\[={x^4 \over 4}+{4x^3 \over 3}+{7x \over 2}+4x \]

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

For the last one, use the same strategy.\[\int\limits_0^9 t^2+1 \quad dt= {t^3 \over 3}+t \;\;\;\Biggr|_0^9\]\[= {9^3 \over 3}+9 -\left({0^2 \over 3} +0\right)=250\]

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Excuse me, typo. It should be 252 not 250 for the last one.
