Hey, I'm new to this, so if I'm off in a wrong direction, give me a hand --- 

I'm wondering where you've gotten with this.  First line - what do you think of? What mental image or picture comes to mind? 

I'd go line by line and figure out what image (you can even use google image search for actual images) comes to mind and then compare and contrast those.
