distance from earth to centre of milkyway galaxy is 25 thousand years of light. if a spacecraft want to go to centre of galaxy with constant velocity and 40 years period. how much spacecraft velocity relative to centre of galaxy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try to divide the distance by the velocity expression as in general relativiy...time is given so velocity can be calculated..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[U \prime = \gamma(U - V)\] ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the general relativity's equation equivalent for distance=speed X time...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25000 years of light : 40 years = u' ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

625c = U'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get it , thanks
