so, x+y=120
after the diet course, x will increase by 10%, y will decrease by 10%
so, finally, 11/10 x+ 9/10 y= 125 (given)

11x+9y=1250.....2
from 1, 11x+11y=1320.....3
so, 2y=70, y=35
x=85.. and..
