Alternate interior angles are congruent. What can you conclude from deductive reasoning based on this statement? because they are alternate interior angles. because they are alternate exterior angles because they have the same degree measure. If and are on opposite sides of a transversal, then they are alternate interior angles.

The answer would be A, the angles are congruent because they are alternate interior angles. Basically this rule is based upon the fact that a straight line is the same as a 180 degree angle. Look at the pic. any angle opposite the other one would be the same because all four angles have to equal 360 degrees and the two adjacent angles have to equal 180
